Now that the team has been back in the kitchen for a few weeks, we wanted to give you all an update of what’s been happening. You’ve given us so much love over our past three seasons and we’ve been putting all that good energy into exciting new developments for our fourth season…

Back in the kitchen with Southridge Jam Co. aprons

Our familiar Jam Co. kitchen felt strangely unfamiliar when we first walked in on a snowy January morning. We were bundled up with coats, toques and boots, very unlike our summer-weather jam sessions. But before long, we were tying up each other’s aprons, rocking our hairnets and pumping-up our jam music.

…. And we’re back. It’s like we never left!

Being together with your favourite people can help you get through the cold, the gloom and the challenges life holds for us day-to-day. It’s been great to set goals for a new season that will help us take this social enterprise into new territory – including our newest flavour of jam…  stay tuned for more news on that!

Your support of Jam Co. has not only helped us increase production and add a new flavour to our line – it’s helped us grow our team by four new members! They’ve enthusiastically brought their skills, energy and friendship to our team. We could not be more grateful to have them join the jam fam, as we got to celebrate Valentine’s Day together, chat over coffee breaks and learn the science of jamming.

Before February ended, we also enjoyed a visit from some special guests from Edible Toronto. They came to help us tell our story in their latest issue. We are so grateful to everyone who shares this social enterprise story to help us spread hope – we couldn’t do it without you.
